View over Hong Kong, from the PolyU Innovation Tower Hong Kong skyline, near the Space Museum Between the 20th and 24th of April, two of our Tamk Media and Arts lecturers - Howell Istance and I, Carita Forsgren - went to visit Hong Kong. (Yes, the city, not the Finnish hardware and various items store by the same name.) We were there by the generous invitation of the University of Tampere, Centre for Practice as Research inTheatre . The team of three Deadline was met with photopool-project last Friday in Hämeenlinna. Photopool is an app that was introduced at ITK-fair which is focused in interactive methods of education . Development started after the original concept by Tuomo Joronen, a lecturer at Degree Programme in Media. Group of three, Tuomo, Chrystal, student at Interactive Programme in Media and Mika, student at Computer Sciences welcome you to try the app which you can download at: www.photopool.fi . Currently there is an android version only. Most of the development process occurred during the summer of 2014 and slowly but surely the app was finetuned into a deliverable by the fair. Dear applicants, as you very well know, the entrance exams are approaching, and here you'll find some useful info that will help you having a smoother experience during these already tense days. HOW TO GET HERE: Take buses 8 or 17 from rautatieasema or keskustori, and stop in Mediapolis. Buses go quite frequently, and if you need to check the timetable you can use TKL's  Journey Planner Once you are at the bus stop, go on your right, where the Mediapolis sign is visible Just follow that road until the end Then, you'll find Mediapolises main entrance on your left You'll find the registration desk in our main lobby And after you have been registering, you will hear a welcome speech from our Head of Studies, Timo Kivikangas, in our orange lobby, which will also be an info point throughout the whole exam. More infos about the exams will be given directly to each applicant once you are here; but if you are in need remember that the tutors are there to help you(they'll we
